The price is the same on any day of the week, because the Oceano is a partner boat. The extra-person charge is a single flat amount: 51 or 65 people pay the same R$ 2,000 more. Partner boat pages are in Portuguese.
What are the shift times?
The Oceano has its own shift times, different from the other boats:
- Morning: 10am to 3pm.
- Afternoon: 4pm to 9pm.
The afternoon shift has no surcharge. It runs into the evening, which works well for parties and for after-work company events.
Which routes does it run?
The two routes inside Guanabara Bay:
- Route 1, Mureta da Urca: Aterro do Flamengo, Enseada de Botafogo and a stop at Mureta da Urca, at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain.
- Route 2, Praia Vermelha: the same course with a second stop at Praia Vermelha.
The Oceano does not go to Copacabana, the Ilhas Cagarras, Itaipu and Camboinhas or on the Volta Completa. For a large group that wants those routes, the WeBoat Malik runs all six, with up to 50 people.
