Which boats take 10 people?
You pay for the boat, not per person. So for 10 people it makes sense to look at the smallest boats in the fleet: they cost less and still leave spare seats. For WeBoat’s own boats, the first price is the promotional price and the second is the regular price. Partner boats have one price every day.

The Magna 28 takes exactly 10 people. If your group might grow before the date, pick a boat with spare room: capacity is set by the Brazilian Navy and everyone counts, children included.
How much is it per person?
With 10 people on Route 1:
- WeBoat 32 on a weekday: R$ 230 per person.
- WeBoat 32 on a Saturday: R$ 270 per person.
- Boat Rio 36, any day: R$ 350 per person.
The weekday versus Saturday difference applies only to WeBoat’s own boats. Own boats have a promotional price Monday to Friday and on Sunday mornings. Saturdays, Sunday afternoons, public holidays, bridge days, seasonal periods, Dec 31 to Jan 15 and Carnival use the regular price.
Which route makes sense for 10 people?
Group size does not limit the route: all six boats in the table run Routes 1 to 6. What changes is the price and the time spent cruising.
- Route 1, Mureta da Urca: the shortest and cheapest. It leaves Marina da Glória, passes Aterro do Flamengo and Enseada de Botafogo, and stops for a swim at Mureta da Urca, right next to Sugarloaf Mountain.
- Route 2, Praia Vermelha: the same course plus a second stop at Praia Vermelha, right under the cable car. On the WeBoat 32 it costs R$ 200 more than Route 1.
For a first boat trip with 10 people, both stay inside Guanabara Bay, where the water is calmer.

The Simple BBQ Kit comes with picanha, sirloin, sausage, chicken drumettes, garlic bread, farofa (toasted cassava flour), soft drinks and water. For 8 to 10 people it costs R$ 115 per person, and booking the kit waives the R$ 250 BBQ grill fee.
If the same group goes on a Tuesday, on Route 1, with no services, the total drops to R$ 2,300, or R$ 230 per person.
Frequently asked questions
Is the boat just for my group?
Yes. The price is for the whole boat, with a skipper, for 5 hours. Nobody outside your group comes aboard.
Can I bring my own drinks and food?
Yes. The boats have coolers and you can bring drinks and snacks at no charge. Using the BBQ grill costs R$ 250 on these boats, waived when you book a BBQ service.
How much is an extra hour?
It depends on the boat: R$ 600 on the Magna 28, R$ 650 on the WeBoat Real 32, R$ 800 on the WeBoat 32 and the WeBoat Oceanic 36, and R$ 1,000 on the WeBoat Rival 36 and the Boat Rio 36.
If the group grows to 12, do I need a different boat?
Only if you picked the Magna 28 (up to 10) or the Boat Rio 36 (up to 11). The other four boats in the table take 12 or more.
